Following the UK Government announcement on the 4th January 2021, the Michelmersh Group would like to reassure employees, customers, and stakeholders that it will continue to remain open and operate as per Government guidance.

The Government has confirmed that, where people are unable to work from home, for example those working in critical national infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing sectors, they may continue to travel to their workplace and operate in accordance with Government guidance.

Falling within scope of guidance for the construction sector are: construction contractors, subcontractors or workers delivering construction projects, those involved in the manufacturing, supply and distribution of construction products, builders’ merchants and logistics, and the provision of relevant professional services.

The Government has advised that the above action is essential to keep the country operating, supporting sectors and employers, with manufacturing playing a critical part in our economy.

Michelmersh continues to maintain COVID-19 secure working procedures/environments and continues to operate strictly in-line with and adhering to all Government guidance.
